The Unplanned Encounter

I heard one of the most fascinating stories about swinging from a friend. He has been interested in swinging for quite some time, and his wife approved, but they don’t feel comfortable enough about swinging yet so they have not really tried anything yet. One night, his wife and he were invited to another friend’s house for a nice dinner. They don’t know that their friends are swinging, so there were really no intentions of attending the invitation with swinging in mind.

After a nice meal, the four of them sat down and chat over wine. During the conversation, swinging came up as a topic and they
continued talking about it for some time. At one point, my friend’s wife explained how they are holding back from actually enjoy swinging
because they are not sure what to expect. To their surprise, thehost’s wife got up and walked towards him, sat nicely close to him,
and started giving him French kisses. If I were in that position, I would think of this as highly inappropriate; I always believe that couples should decide for themselves when they feel ready to try swinging. But in this particular case, my friend’s wife got up and get
close to the male host and started kissing him as well. One thing lead to another, they ended up doing soft swinging that night. The host was
kind enough to offer a room when my friend and his wife felt like engaging a more intimate sex act of their own, but they all decided to
call it a night.

After that night, my friend and his wife has been feeling more comfortable attending swinging parties and trying new things. This
little unplanned encounter is an interesting short story after all; in this case, it works helping a couple take the first step to swinging.

Introducing Your Spouse to Swinging

This is probably one of the toughest subjects when it comes to
swinging. Bringing up the topic of swinging to your spouse can be
quite tricky, and you must apply proper approach if you plan on doing
it. You can’t really predict your partner’s reactions as well; believe
me when I say they can be quite intimidating sometimes. My wife and I
have the luxury of being able to help some of our friends about
swinging, and one thing I learn about each different case is that you
must ease the subject to your spouse instead of cramming or even
forcing them to understand.

A good rule of thumb is to never push your spouse into swinging unless
he or she feels completely comfortable with the idea. There are cases
where husbands drag their wives into swinging only to see their wives
feeling frustrated and their marriages ended. Swinging is a lifestyle
that requires open, unfiltered, communications at all times. If you
are forcing your spouse into swinging, they will most likely shut you
out and it will be even harder to communicate with them about the
experience.

If you find yourself in a situation where your spouse can’t really
accept the idea of swinging, you may want to invite other swinging
couple to hear their experiences. It will help you and your spouse
understand the lifestyle, but you should never expect the encounter to
change your spouse’s mind instantly. If after the meet your spouse
still feels uncomfortable about the idea, you must not press further
and drop swinging altogether for the sake of your relationship or
marriage. If you really love your spouse, you will not put him or her
through something that will hurt them or break their heart. With
proper approach and some patience, it is not impossible that your
spouse may accept swinging in the near future.
