First, both of you need to set certain limits. Describe clearly and
concisely how far you are willing to go as well as what you are
comfortable with (and what may make you feel jealous or
uncomfortable), and ask your spouse to do the same thing. This way,
both of you can agree on one certain red line on what to do and what
to avoid. This step is very crucial in swinging because it will allow
you to focus more on the experience, knowing beforehand that your
spouse is OK with what you are doing. It will also help lay down some
more ground rules such as the kind of playmates both of you are
interested, the type of swinging (soft, open, or close swinging) both
of you are comfortable with, and of course how often will both of you
swing.

Once you get this out of the way, and both of you have complete
understanding of one another, maintain a constant communication and
talk about your experiences in an intimate conversation. If needed,
both of you can revise the ground rules set when you started swinging
as long as all parties remain fully comfortable with the new sets of
